Bay River Pottery

Candace Young has operated the Bay River Pottery in Bayboro, NC since 1981. Young makes wheel thrown, carved and pierced lanterns and lamps, raku and copper sculptures for the walls and garden and a wide variety of vases for free style ikebana flower arranging.  She also does "smoke painting" in raku firings.   Her studio is open to the public and she gives talks on "Flower Arranging for Dummies" to garden clubs and other groups.
